Tip

  1. To view and edit your own user information, from the Global Menu bar, choose My Profile on the My Account menu.

  2. OpenText Directory Services has been implemented with your installation of Content Server V16. Users with user administration rights can change user passwords in Content Server, which will update the Content Server database. All users can change their own password through Directory Services, which will update the password in OTDS.

This procedure describes changing the user password, provided you have user administration rights, through Content Server. Users can see Changing Your Password for information about changing their own password in OTDS.

Regardless of the location that the user password is changed, all changes are pushed to OTDS.
